County, Utah, by Craig B. Forster and Stephen H. Snelgrove,
CD, OFR-389 $19.95
The Ferron Sandstone Member of Mancos Shale
in east-central Utah has world-class outcrops of strata deposited
along the margins of a Cretaceous seaway. These exposures are
excellent for mapping and describing the lithofacies that serve
as oil and gas reservoir analogs. Several publications are available
from a major research project on the Ferron (MP-02-6, OFR-389,
OFR-390, OFR-391, OFR-392).
Ferron Sandstone stratigraphic cross sections, Ivie Creek
area, Emery County, Utah, by Paul B. Anderson, Thomas C. Chidsey
Jr., Kevin McClure, Ann Matson, and Stephen H. Snelgrove, CD,
OFR-390 $19.95
Ferron Sandstone (Upper Cretaceous) core photographs, Ivie
Creek and Muddy Creek areas, Emery County, Utah, by Carolyn
M. Olsen and Cheryl Gustin, 4/02, 1 CD-ROM, OFR-391 $19.95
Ferron Sandstone drill-hole database and lithologic logs,
Ferron Creek to Last Chance Creek, Emery and Sevier Counties,
Utah (CD Contains OFR 317 and OFR-331) OFR-429 CD $14.95
Coal studies CD Contains SS-49, SS-54, & B-112 $14.95
Contains SS-49 (Methane content of Utah coals;
Observations on the Sunnyside coal zone; Chemical analysis of
coal from the Blackhawk Formation, Wasatch Plateau coal field,
Carbon, Emery, and Sevier Counties, Utah), SS-54 (Coal drilling,
